Jane Baer Berrien Of Quogue Dies March 21

Jane Baer Berrien of Quogue and Manhattan died on March 21 with her family by her side. She was 81.

Survivors said she was passionate about her family and enjoyed traveling, living in New York City and her time spent in Quogue. She was an executive assistant at Avon Products and later a sales representative for Half Drop Designs, both based in New York City.

Ms. Berrien is survived by her husband of almost 50 years, Willard H. Berrien Jr.; a son, Willard “Bill” H. Berrien III and wife Betsie of Wisconsin; a daughter, Andrea Martone and husband Kevin of Delmar; and five grandchildren, Grace, Will IV and Joe Berrien, and Patrick and Brendan Martone; a brother, Theodore C. Baer Jr.; nephew, Greg Baer; niece, Kitty McNally; and grandnieces and a grandnephew.

A wake will be held at Follett and Werner Funeral Home in Westhampton Beach on Thursday, March 26, from 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral will be held at the Church of the Immaculate Conception on Quiogue on Friday, March 27, at 11 a.m.

Memorial donations may be made to the Courtyard Unit at the Eddy Memorial Geriatric Center, 2256 Burdett Avenue, Troy, NY 12180.
