Former Southampton and Mamaroneck resident Jeanne L. Goodwin died on September 10 at her home in Ormond Beach, Florida. She was 82.

She was an active member of the Women’s Auxiliaries of the Eagles in Daytona Beach and the Elks and Moose lodges in Ormond Beach.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, September 24, at the Moose Lodge, 601 Granada Boulevard, Ormond Beach 32174.

In lieu of flowers, donations to an animal shelter of choice would be appreciated.

Hampton Bays School District residents will be asked to vote for a $67,495,698 budget for the 2025-26 school year on Tuesday, May 20. Eastport-South Manor School District voters will decide on a tax-cap compliant budget on Tuesday, May 20, and also cast votes in the Board of Education race, in which three incumbents are running unopposed.
