Jeanne M. Krajewski

Jeanne M. Krajewski of Southampton died on April 8 after a brief battle with cancer. She was 87.

Born on February 28, 1926, the daughter of Mae and Henry Kramer, she married Joseph Z. Krajewski in 1969. Ms. Krajewski graduated from St. Agnes School in Rockville Center. She and her husband were the proprietors of Judge’s Restaurant in Hampton Bays from 1960 to 1985 and she enjoyed greeting guests and preparing her famous Judge’s key lime pie, cheesecake, coleslaw and baked stuffed potatoes.

Ms. Krajewski and her husband belonged to the Southampton Golf Club, where she was a member of the Nine Holers.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Stephanie McNamara of Southampton; three grandchildren, Lauren, Luke and Collin McNamara, all of Southampton; three sisters, Dolores Tracy of California, Mae MacKay and Rosemary Lambros of Florida; and a brother, Henry Kramer of North Carolina. She was predeceased by her son-in-law, Gary McNamara, in 2004.

A funeral took place on April 13. Arrangements were under the direction of the O’Connell Funeral Home in Southampton.
