Jesse Warren To Give First-Ever State Of The Village Address In Southampton August 31

Southampton Village Mayor Jesse Warren will offer the village’s first-ever State of The Village Address on Tuesday, August 31, at 8 p.m.

The address will be given in Agawam park, and refreshments will be served prior to the speech, at 7:30 p.m.

Mr. Warren said in a release that he aims to update residents on a number of important issues, including public works projects, downtown revitalization efforts, the natural environment and village finances, among others.

“Our goal is to collectively celebrate our community’s resilience and collaborative spirit that has carried us through these unprecedented times,” the release states.

Masks are recommended, and social distancing protocols will be enforced.

A rain date of September 2 has been set, and all are welcome.
