Joan Granuzzo, former longtime resident of Hampton Bays and East Quogue, of Vero Beach, Florida, died on January 3, 2019, at the VNA Hospice Center in Vero Beach. She was 86.
Born in Port Washington to Clifford and Gladys Marcks, she was a retired real estate agent at East Quogue Realty. She enjoyed bingo, traveling, the ocean, yard sales and had a special love for the Kentucky Derby.
She was predeceased by her husband, Angelo Granuzzo; son Donald Frost; and daughter Nancy Raynor. She is survived by three daughters, Linda DeRosa of East Quogue, Michele (Al) Klager of Vero Beach, and Priscilla Hendrickson of Hampton Bays; and son Kevin (Kim) Frost of Hampton Bays; sister Sandra (Robert) Prezleski of Hampton Bays; brother Robert Marcks of Glen Head; 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 25, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. at R.J. O’Shea Funeral Home in Hampton Bays. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 26, at 9:15 a.m. at the Church of St. Rosalie. Burial will follow at Good Ground Cemetery.
