Mr. Osborne was an active member of the Southampton Elks Club, the Society of Real Estate Appraisers and the Southampton Golf Club. He was also a member of the international American Airlines golf team.
In his retirement, he lived in Texas and California with his children, until eight years ago when he settled in Florida.
He is survived by a daughter, Jannine V. Osborne of Texas; a son, James John Osborne and his wife Kimberly of Texas; two sisters, Gail O. Tiska-Flurry of Southampton and Joyce O. Grattan of Mattituck; and one granddaughter.
