John Harold Noonan Sr. Of Hampton Bays Dies October 9

John Harold Noonan Sr. of Hampton Bays died on October 9. He was 81 and worked as a carpenter.

Mr. Noonan is survived by his wife, Susan Rose (Pollock); and three children, Karen S. Martin and husband Steve of Macedon, John H. Noonan Jr. and wife Meredith of Hampton Bays and Kimberly Noonan of Hampton Bays; five grandchildren, John Peter Noonan, Emily Noonan, Eric Martin, Andrew Martin and Tyler Martin; two brothers, William Noonan and wife Patricia of West Sayville and Raymond Noonan of Oregon; and a sister, Nancy Stanley of Tennessee.

Visitation was at J. Ronald Scott Funeral Home in Hampton Bays on October 12. Burial of ashes, with military honors, was on October 14 at Calverton National Cemetery.

William Campos Lopez, 26, of Speonk was arrested on December 8, at 3:40 a.m., by Quogue Village Police charged him with aggravated DWI, a misdemeanor. He was pulled over after being observed speeding and failing to maintain his lane on Montauk Highway, police said.
