John J. Davonski of Westhampton Beach died on April 5. He was 77.

He was born October 11, 1946, in Southampton to John and Sophie (neé Zebrowski) Davonski. He was a lifelong resident of the greater Westhampton Beach area, working for many years at the East Quogue School and then Westhampton True Value until his retirement.

He was predeceased by his son, John; sister, Carol Bruno; and brother-in-law V. James Bruno. He is survived by his wife Kim; son Scott and wife Jennifer; daughter-in-law Heather; his grandchildren Zachary, Tyler, Joshua and his wife Brooke.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Cohen’s Children’s Hospital (childrenshospital.northwell.edu) or Ronald McDonald House (rmhc.org) would be appreciated by the family.
