John M. Fretta
John M. Fretta of Southampton died on July 3. He was 82.
A World War II veteran who served in the U.S. Army, Mr. Fretta was the proprietor of Fretta Brothers in New York City.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Anita Fretta of Southampton; a son, Joseph Fretta and his wife Danka of New Jersey; a daughter, Catherine Paez and her husband Michael of Southampton; and four grandchildren, Katie Anne, John, Jennifer and Jacqueline.
The family received visitors on July 7 at R.J. O’Shea Funeral Home in Hampton Bays. Funeral services were held on July 8 at St. Rosalie’s Roman Catholic Church, also in Hampton Bays. Interment followed at Calverton National Cemetery.
