He is survived by his wife, Mariette, a daughter, Michelle Romanosky, and a grandson, Jeffrey Romanosky Jr., all of Southampton. He is also survived by a sister, Patricia Foley of Massachusetts; two aunts; a nephew; several nieces; a sister-in-law and her husband; and many cousins.

Visitation was on March 8 at the O’Connell Funeral Home in Southampton. Funeral services were held on March 9 at Our Lady of Poland Church, also in Southampton. Interment with full military honors was at Calverton National Cemetery. A reception followed at the Southampton Elks Lodge.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Birthright of Peconic Inc, 99 West Montauk Highway, Hampton Bays, NY 11946 or Human Resources of the Hamptons, 168 Hill Street, Southampton, NY 11968 would be appreciated by the family.
