Judith K. Garry
Judith K. Garry of Westhampton Beach died at her home on Sunday, August 5. She was 71.
Ms. Garry was born on May 18, 1941, in Brooklyn to Peter and Sylvia Bommarito. She graduated from St. John’s University in 1962. In college she met the man who would become her husband, Robert T. Garry. They married in 1964.
Ms. Garry was beloved by many in what became her longtime home of Westhampton Beach, where for more than 20 years she owned The Pinecone, a business where no matter what the day, you would find Ms. Garry in her favorite tortoiseshell rimmed glasses listening to the likes of Michael Buble and Steve Tyrell while selling her eclectic wares, survivors said.
She is survived by three children, Scott Garry of Connecticut, Douglas Garry of Westhampton Beach and Jennifer Garry of Hampton Bays.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
