June Rosenblatt, born on June 2, 1927 passed away Tuesday, February 6. June Lived life to the fullest, leaving this earth 96 years young. You could spot June anywhere by her sense of style and incredible smile. She lit up every room she entered and made you feel as if you were a part of the family. Her laugh was infectious, as was her sense of humor.

Patchogue was her epicenter. Born, Raised, and ont marrying the love of her life of over 60 years, Robert Rosenblatt. June and Bob grew quickly into family of 3 beautiful daughters, all the while supporting the families jewelry business on Main Street, Rose Jewelers. After the death of her husband Bob, she made the tough decision to leave her home of over 75 years to continue life at their winter home in Delray Beach permanently.

She certainly was one of a kind! June enjoyed touching the lives of her community members through her charitable work. She was the past President of Hadassh at the Patchogue Temple. She will be missed by all of the lives she has touched.

She leaves her legacy behind through her daughter Jan, Lisa (Ira) Gordon, Beth (Steve) Elgort. Her grandchildren: Melissa, Brooke, Amy, David, Alison, Rachel and Bradley. Great Grandchildren: Jack, Molly, Eden, Reese, Rex, Ari, and Jordyn.

Services were held Friday, February 9th at Temple Beth El in Patchogue.

SAG HARBOR VILLAGE — Village Police arrested Anthony Colonia, 29, of Shirley this past week on a felony charge of grand larceny in the third degree. According to police, back in February, a Northwest Woods resident reported that she had paid Colonia, who was doing business as Pristine Painting Inc, via check, $5,800 as a down payment to paint the interior and exterior of her property. The check was handed to Colonia by the homeowner, police said, in Sag Harbor Village, making the alleged crime that department’s responsibility. Sag Harbor Village DWI Arrest for the Week of December 12

Felicia S. Baez, 30, who has a Brooklyn address on her license but told the court during her arraignment Sunday morning that she is working in Sag Harbor, was charged with misdemeanor DWI a little before midnight on Saturday. Sag Harbor Village Police said she was driving a 2011 Toyota RAV4 erratically on Jermain Avenue, leading to a traffic stop. The officer suspected Baez, according to police, was intoxicated and had her perform sobriety tests, which she failed.
