Katherine Tureski Of Southampton Dies February 21

Katherine Tureski of Southampton died on February 21, 2019. She was 91.

Born on October 29, 1927, to Charles and Annie Ludlow, she was raised in Bridgehampton and graduated from Bridgehampton High school in 1945.

She married Teddy Tureski in 1949, and was a longtime employee at Hull Chevrolet Olds in Southampton, before the business was sold.

She enjoyed getting in her exercise by walking around the village of Southampton and taking swimming aerobics at the Omni.

Ms. Tureski was predeceased by her husband, Teddy. She is survived by her son, Theodore; and a sister, Evelyn Ludlow Tureski.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 28, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Brockett Funeral home in Southampton. A funeral service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Southampton on Friday, March 1, at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at the Southampton Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Southampton.
