Katie Ann Lucas dies at 23

Katie Ann Lucas of Westhampton Beach died of cystic fibrosis on April 28. Born June 21, 1986, she was 23.

She is survived by her mother, Eileen Thiele and her husband Roger of Westhampton Beach; a sister, Kerry Zask and her husband Billy of Center Moriches; a brother, Robert Mackey of Westhampton Beach; a sister, Allison Drago and her husband Gaetano of Virginia; a niece, Jackie Drago of Virginia; a nephew, Dominic Drago of Virginia; a brother, Matthew Lucas of Florida; a sister, Danielle Lucas of Florida, and best friends, Angela Ruggieri of Westbury and Kelly Martin of Westhampton Beach.

A brother, Michael Lucas, predeceased her.

The family received visitors on April 30 at Follett & Werner Funeral Home in Westhampton Beach. Funeral services were conducted by Father Thomas Cardone on May 1. Interment followed at Westhampton Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Long Island Chapter in her name, 425 Broad Hollow Road, Suite 318, Melville, NY, 11747 would be appreciated by the family.
