Kenneth Cornell deLoiselle
Kenneth Cornell deLoiselle of Cutchogue died on August 2 at Stony Brook University Hospital. He was 86.
Born in Southampton on June 29, 1926, to Monti and Marion (née Foster) deLoiselle, he served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. After his honorable discharge, he worked for 43 years for the company that eventually became Verizon, retiring as a supervisor. He served on the board of directors of Sapphire Village for seven years, the board of deacons at Southampton First Presbyterian Church and was a 60-year member and former master of the Old Town Masonic Lodge No. 908.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy (née Krueger); two children, Edward deLoiselle of Maryland and Debra Mishik of New Jersey; seven grandchildren; two nephews; two grandnieces and two grandnephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Edmund deLoiselle.
The family received friends at the DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home in Southold on August 6. A religious service was held on August 7 at the funeral home; the Reverend Jin Hyoung Kim officiated. Interment with military honors was at Calverton National Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Masonic Order would be appreciated by the family.
