Kevin J. Collins of Palm Beach, Florida, New York City and Southampton died at his home in Florida on January 23 of brain tumor complications. He was 83.
Born in Erie, Pennsylvania, he served in the U.S. Army Air Corps During World War II. After graduating from Phillips Exeter Academy in Connecticut and Wesleyan University in Connecticut, he attended the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and then graduated from Boston University Law School. He was a proud member of Psi Upsilon fraternity.
He began his career in the legal department of U.S. Trust and then was associated with several Wall Street investment firms before becoming a private investor.
Mr. Collins is survived by his wife, Louise Collins of Florida; a sister, Alexa Sulak; and a niece, Adriana Bombard.
A memorial service will be held at Bethesda-By-The-Sea in Palm Beach, Florida, on Friday, February 13, at 4:30 p.m.
