On August 28, 1982, she married her best friend and high school sweetheart, Dennis Bagley. Traveling alongside her husband as he pursued his Air Force career, the couple had been stationed at Hill Air Force Base, Ogden, Utah. It was there that their first child was born, Shayla Denise Bagley. The year 1992 brought them back to Europe to Lakenheath AFB, England. It was there that Trevor was born. After spending five years in Europe they returned to Langley Air Force Base in Virginia. After her husband retired from active duty in the United States Air Force in 2002, after more that 21 years of honorable service, the couple settled in Carrollton. While her husband was serving in the military, Ms. Bagley maintained her role as a dedicated mother and wife while also working for the federal government as an accountant technician.
