Many Thanks

We want to thank our generous friends and neighbors for supporting and attending “An Evening in Positano,” our Italian-themed event raising awareness and much-needed funding for East End Hospice and Camp Good Grief, on Saturday, June 29, from 7 to 11 p.m. at a waterfront estate overlooking Shinnecock Bay.

The fundraiser was attended by more than 600 guests and included a live seven-piece orchestra, casino gaming, silent auction and a live auction to raise funds for Camp Good Grief, a bereavement camp for children who have lost a loved one or friend.

The committee wishes to thank our generous local merchants and businesses that donated to the gala. We also want to thank Mary Crosby, our president and CEO, who attended our committee meetings and supported us at every turn.

Special thanks goes to Lucas Hunt, our emcee for the evening, who helped raise a staggering $92,000 in camp scholarships for Camp Good Grief in under 10 minutes, setting an all-time record for us.

Lastly, our thanks to our hosts, the Jeffrey family, for providing such a spectacular waterfront location for our event.
