In an age when your 10-year-old can access the most lurid images with a simple keystroke, or find detailed instructions on how to build a proper pipe bomb, I’d like to suggest that Huck Finn is not the enemy.
The concern should not be in what our children read but what they are prevented from reading.
Please, local school boards, leave the books alone.
