Watching my favorite cable station the other day, the news anchor suggested that Democrats seemed to now view former Trump supporters as potential domestic terrorists.

To substantiate his claim, he played an interview with former CIA director John Brennan on a progressive cable network. Brennan clearly stated that there were now so many domestic terrorists that the Justice Department was having trouble tracking them all.

This chilling perspective was eschewed in other left-leaning media. This paranoia explained the thousands of National Guard troops still in our Capitol and barbed wire fencing around the building known affectionately as “the People’s House,” to protect our government from … people like me, or any Americans who don’t think like them.

Our newly installed administration has perpetuated the war on all things still or formerly Trump, whether they were successful or not. Evidently, American energy independence and low fuel costs had to go. Ditto the enforcement of immigration laws at our southern border that had finally brought order to the chaos Democrats had supported.

Still to be exposed will be the Biden approach to our confrontational relationships with Iran, China, Russia and North Korea. I sincerely hope we don’t return to the Obama era methods of appeasement.

The Trump era ended, and he was pilloried for the human cost of the COVID-19 epidemic in human lives. To be fair, Biden has only just gotten his hands on the problem. My prediction is that results will be more of the same, as states function independently with varying success. If you believe the federal government will come to the rescue, don’t hold your breath.

States like New York were feted as the model for COVID-19 response by all the left-biased media. It is clear, if you use the “science,” that we have been led by a fool as governor.

The Biden admistration is obsessed with racial and gender metrics as it fills its cabinet positions. Contrary to his campaign positioning of political moderation, Biden has used every opportunity to advance the progressive agenda, especially the new mantra regarding “white guilt.” When you hear the words “racial equality” and “equity” being discussed, be sure you understand the implications. The new standard of racial justice will be based on the dismantling of our proud history, institutions and evolution over time.

Equality of outcomes has another name: socialism. When ruthlessly enforced without permitting free speech in dissent, it becomes totalitarianism.
