The Beautification Committee of the Hamlet of East Quogue annually each December holds a holiday tree-lighting ceremony in our hamlet park. Last year, the festivities were suspended due to COVID restrictions — but this year they are back on. Ryan Murphy, public safety emergency management administrator for the Town of Southampton, has given the green light to go ahead.
So, save the date: Saturday, December 4, at 5 p.m. As usual, the East Quoque Elementary School choir and band will be invited to perform holiday songs, and hot chocolate and cookies will be served.
All are invited and welcome.
