n obituary for Lillian Korell that appeared in The Press last year contained a number of errors. A corrected obituary follows.

Lillian Korell, a longtime resident of Speonk, died on May 9, 2009. Born on February 13, 1921, she was 88.

She is survived by a son, Stephen Korell; a daughter, Karen; and a grandson, Alex. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Korell.

Funeral arrangements were under the director of Sinnicksons Moriches Funeral Home in Center Moriches.
