Lillian Kraft dies at 81

Lillian Kraft

Lillian Kraft of Westhampton died at her home on June 18. She was 81.

Ms. Kraft worked as a cashier for both the Westhampton Beach School District and 
Waldbaum’s in Westhampton Beach.

She is survived by two daughters, Cheryl Kraft of Westhampton and Amanda Kraft of Florida; a son, Charles Kraft III of Westhampton; and a grandchild, Grace Kraft.

The family received visitors on June 20 at Follett & Werner Funeral Home in Westhampton Beach. Funeral services 
followed on June 21 at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, also in Westhampton Beach. Interment followed at Westhampton Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to East End Hospice, PO Box 1048, Westhampton Beach, NY 11978 would be appreciated by the family.

Southampton DWI Arrests for the Week of May 8

Gintaras Satas, 58, of Mastic was arrested at about 11:30 p.m. on May 2 and charged with misdemeanor DWI and several vehicle and traffic violations after the vehicle he was driving nearly struck a Southampton Town Police car that was on the side of Montauk Highway in Water Mill with its lights on conducting a traffic stop of another vehicle. When approached by the officer, Satas was found to be unsteady on his feet and a breath alcohol test indicated he had been drinking more than the legal limit, according to police. by Staff Writer

Renny Lopez-Bermeo, 27, of East Hampton was arrested by Southampton Town Police at about 7 p.m. on April 27 and charged with felony DWI after he was pulled over for driving erratically on Lynncliff Road near Ponquogue Avenue in Hampton Bays.
