Lillian Wils
Lillian Wils, resident of Sag Harbor for 53 years, died at Southampton Hospital on May 16. She was 87.
Born on September 24, 1925, in South Hempstead, she was the daughter of Nicholas and Elizabeth Olsen.
Ms. Wils devoted her life to making a home for her children, survivors said.
Predeceased by her husband, Harry Wils Sr., she is survived by seven children, Barbara Field of Florida, Harry Wils Jr. and wife Patty of Sag Harbor, Mary Battaglia and husband Philip of Texas, Thomas Wils and wife Lynn of Arizona, Margaret Henn and husband Richard of Sag Harbor, Dorothy Wils of Pennsylvania, and Patricia Malloy of Sag Harbor. She also is survived by 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Ms. Wils was predeceased by two sons-in-law, Michael Malloy and William Field, and two brothers, Norman Olsen and Leonard Olsen.
Visitation took place on May 19; interment was private. Arrangements were under the direction of the Yardley and Pino Funeral Home in Sag Harbor. Memorial donations may be sent to the Sag Harbor Volunteer Ambulance Corps, P.O. Box 2725, Sag Harbor, NY 11963.
