Linda L. Hatcher (nee Langsdorf) of Hampton Bays died on July 12. She was 75.

She was the first-born daughter of Terese Carter (Wouters) and Arthur Langsdorf Jr., and was married to Robert Hatcher for 34 years before he died in March 2000.

Hatcher had several interests, including Bingo (she just won $100 a few weeks ago!), Disney, camping, NASCAR, bowling and church. She was an active member of Christ Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Hampton Bays and enjoyed her time in Bible study every Wednesday morning. The one thing she loved doing more than anything else, according to her family, was talking about the “good old days” with her family and friends. She seemed to know everyone and was a great source for local information.

She was predeceased by her sister Elizabeth (Libby) Wouters. She is survived by her daughters, Ramona Kuroski (Robert), Robin Hatcher and Kaylee Wouters-Hatcher; her sisters and brothers-in-law Terri Klager and Frank Mineo, Peggi and Kenneth Booth, and Georgi and Louis DePasquale; her grandchildren, Kathryn, Thomas and Megan Kuroski; two beloved aunts; many nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hampton Bays Beautification Society and Christ Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Hampton Bays would be appreciated by the family.

Services were held at Scott Rothwell Funeral home in Hampton Bays on July 17. A funeral was held at Christ Our Saviour Lutheran Church on July 18. Burial followed at Good Ground Cemetery.
