For several years, she worked in financial services as a credit analyst at JP Morgan, Prudential Bache and Merrill Lynch. She was an avid athlete and excelled at many sports.

In Florida, Ms. Cunningham enjoyed living near the ocean and swam daily. A true animal lover, she adored her dogs Lucky, Lucy and Eleanor. She was a dedicated fan of professional football, loved watching and discussing the games and teams, particularly the Giants and Jets.
