U.S. Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has announced that she wants congressional members to get salary increases.
In my opinion, her recommendation has no merit when you consider how little our legislatures have accomplished to help their constituents over the past two years. You could call her request an oxymoron, since I thought pay raises were based on positive job performance.
