Lois Gales
Lois Gales of East Quogue died at Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead on September 20. She was 78.
She was predeceased by her husband, Hector Gales, who died in 2008 after 52 years of marriage. She is survived by her children, Michael Gales and his wife Cindy of East Quogue, Michele Moore and her husband Kevin of Pennsylvania; and her grandchildren, Bryan Gales and his wife Sarah, Lauren Gales, all of East Quogue, and Kelsey Moore and his fiance Kellie, and Spencer and Shaylyn Moore of Pennsylvania. She is also survived by two brothers, Ronald Brown and his wife Roseann of East Quogue, and Robert Brown and his wife Mary of Hampton Bays; and a sister, Diane Hautmann of Quogue.
Interment of ashes was at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Center Moriches. There will be a gathering of family and friends at the J. Ronald Scott Funeral Home in Hampton Bays on Saturday, September 29, from 1 to 4 p.m. A memorial service conducted by clergy from the Church of St. Rosalie will begin at 3 p.m.
