Look At The Record

In spite of all the political turmoil in Washington, D.C., there is some very good news in the Labor Department’s September 2019 U.S. jobs report. Our nation’s unemployment rate has dropped to 3.5 percent. The Labor Department considers at that level we have full employment. We haven’t seen that low of a figure since 1969. Black unemployment is at a record low of 5.5 percent, plus Hispanic jobless rate dropped to 3.9 percent. A total of 136,000 new jobs were created since the start of 2019. The average American’s wage has increased 2.9 percent. We have over 6 million jobs waiting to be filled; less folks on welfare and food stamps. The stock market has reached new highs.

When you put all of the above together, I believe President Trump has done an outstanding job since taking office. As a former governor of New York said, “Let’s look at the record.”
