Shinnecock Oyster Festival Coming October 11

The third annual Shinnecock Oyster Festival will take place on Saturday, October 11, from 1 to 7 p.m. on the Shinnecock Powwow grounds. Freshly harvested Shinnecock oysters and other fare, along with live music, local vendors and fun activities for the whole family, will be featured throughout the day. The event is free and open to all. 'Turtle Crawl' Will Support Rescue of Marine Animal

The fourth annual Turtle Crawl — a brewery walk benefiting the New York Marine Rescue Center — will take place on Saturday, September 27, from 1 to 6 p.m. in downtown Riverhead.
