Lorraine A. Miller Dies At 86

Lorraine A. Miller

Lorraine A. Miller of Southampton died at home on Thursday, April 15, surrounded by family and friends. She was 86.

Mrs. Miller was born on April 1, 1925, in Yonkers to Wendell and Julia Glover and grew up in Yonkers and New Jersey. She moved to Southampton with her family in the early 1940s, and graduated from Southampton High School in 1944. In January 1948, she married Albert (Tim) Miller. They had two children.

Mrs. Miller was a homemaker, then worked as a bookkeeper for 20 years for Doctors Carmelo and Russell Cancellieri of Southampton.

She is survived by her children, Susan Andrews and her husband Joseph, and Timothy Miller all of Southampton; four grandchildren, Brian Miller and his wife Jennifer, Corinne Lavinio and her husband Michael, Joseph Andrews III and Lauren Andrews; two great-grandsons, Brayden Miller and Thomas Lavinio; a sister, Helen (Lee) Burns of Seattle; and a niece and nephew.

Visiting hours took place on Monday, April 18, at O’Connell Funeral Home in Southampton. A memorial service was held at O’Connell’s on Tuesday, April 19. Interment followed at Water Mill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations to East End Hospice, P.O. Box 1048, Westhampton Beach, NY 11978 would be appreciated by the family.
