Trustees In Four Villages Reelected In Uncontested Races

Four villages in the Town of Southampton held uncontested races for Village Board this past Friday, June 18. With voter turnout traditionally low when there are no challengers, incumbents easily won back their seats. In the Village of Quogue, Randy Cardo, with 99 votes, and Ted Necarsulmer, with 105 votes, were reelected. There are 1,200 registered voters in Quogue Village. In the Village of Westhampton Beach, where there are 1,570 registered voters, just 33 of them came out to the polls on June 18.
