Lucille Moreland of Bridgehampton, NY, predeceased by Columbus Moreland, GA was born in Southampton hospital September 22, 1931, to Lula Wyche (deceased) of Dinwiddie, VA and Anderson Wyche (deceased) of Capron, VA. Lucille affectionately known as “Nanny” is survived by Cheryl Moreland (Latisha, Donald), Passion, (Lance), Joann Lamb (George), Deborah Moreland (Nick, Nakeiah, Danasia), Cynthia Smith-Rainey (Charvey, Tony, Gary). Predeceased by Claudette Wyche (Rena, Kevin), Marie Wyche (Sean, Tina, Tabatha, (Todd,) Edward, Precious, Talea, Clarence,) Edward Moreland and Lawrence “Butchie” Moreland. Lucille “Nanny” is survived by two siblings, Lawrence Wyche, California and Vivian Graham, Riverhead, NY. Predeceased by Reese Giles, Gene Depena, Helen Lane, and Morris Wyche. “Nanny” leaves to mourn 15 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 5 great, great grandchildren. A loving caretaker, Ms. Rhonda Martin, of Indian Head, MD and a host of family and friends.

SAG HARBOR VILLAGE — Sag Harbor Village Police arrested Jeffrey D. Ward, 59, of Sag Harbor on misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence of drugs and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, namely amphetamine, Friday night. Police had initially received a report of a possible drunk driver in the area of Jermain Avenue and Division Street. The officer sent to investigate reported that he spotted Ward behind the wheel of a 2009 Honda Accord on Jermain Avenue driving east very slowly in the westbound lane.
