Lynn McPadden Dies At 50

Lynn McPadden of Hampton Bays died at The Hospice Inn in Melville on May 19. She was 50 and was a registered nurse on the staff of the Dominican Sisters Family Health Service for more than three years.

She was the daughter of the late John (Mickey) McPadden and the late Maryann (Sprague) McPadden. She is survived by a sister, MaryAnn Hanlon and her husband Brian; an aunt, Priscilla Sprague; two nieces, Shannon Scagel and Jessica McNerney; two nephews, James Scagel and his wife Maritza, and Daniel Scagel, all of Hampton Bays. She is also survived by her partner of three years, Richard Znaniecki, also of Hampton Bays. She was predeceased by a sister, Priscilla McPadden.

Visiting hours were held on Tuesday, May 22, at the J. Ronald Scott Funeral Home in Hampton Bays. A parish prayer service was held at the funeral home later in the day. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, May 23, at the Church of St. Rosalie; interment followed at Good Ground Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to The Hospice Inn, 70 Pinelawn Road, Melville, NY 11747.
