Lynne A. Johnston died on March 16, 2022. She was 68. She was a resident of Hampton Bays and East Quogue and was predeceased by her parents, James R. Johnston and Rose A. Johnston, as well as her lifetime partner of 46 years, Frank “Butch” Rogers III. Born November 25, 1953, in Manhattan, she graduated from Hampton Bays High School. She worked at several liquor stores in Hampton Bays and Riverhead. Survivors said she loved spending time with her many dogs over the years.
She is survived by a sister, Barbara J. Johnston-Guerra; nephews and nieces, Ricky, Danny and wife Fallon, Kyle, Stephen, Maegan and husband Jeffery; great-nieces and great-nephews, Sierra, Amaya, Mia, Ruby, Daniel and Jaxon.
A memorial service will be held at 223 Railroad Avenue in Center Moriches on Saturday, June 4, from 1 to 4 p.m.
