Marie Warner of Southampton died at her home on December 18. She was 87.

She is survived by two daughters, Linda and husband Robert Jessup and Kathy and her husband Fred Kampf, both of Southampton; two sisters, Eleanor Finalborgo of Southampton and Rose Onisko of Texas; a brother, Joe Zawalich and his wife Edna of Florida; a granddaughter, Kimberly and her husband Joe Piazza; two grandsons, Vincent Kampf and Michael Kampf and his girlfriend Robin Owens ; and many nieces and nephews. Her husband, Arthur Warner, predeceased her.

Mrs. Warner’s family said this week they are hoping that all who knew her will “take a page from her life’s journey and live life to the fullest, love with no boundaries, and laugh, laugh, laugh!”

Visitation was held on December 20 at O’Connell Funeral Home in Southampton, followed by a funeral service at Sacred Hearts Church in Southampton and interment in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Make-A-Wish Foundation of Suffolk County, 1 Comac Loop¸ Suite 1A, Ronkonkoma, NY 11779 or East End Hospice, P.O. Box 1048, Westhampton Beach, New York 11978 would be appreciated by the family.

A simple fact about the SALT deductions is being obscured with Nick Lakota’s statements in the news. If the 2017 tax rules expire, residents will once again be able to deduct 100 percent of their state and local taxes.
