Marion M. Wright Of East Quogue Dies November 28

Marion M. Wright of East Quogue died at Southampton Hospital on November 28. She was 87.

Ms. Wright was born on April 5, 1926, to James and Adelaide McCrosson in Westbury. She graduated from Hicksville High School and was a clerk/typist for the receiver of taxes for Southampton Town.

She is survived by a daughter, Donna Keating and husband Barclay of East Quogue. She was predeceased by her husband, William, and siblings, James McCrosson Jr. of Sag Harbor and Barbara Reische of Rocky Point, and by a son, Lawrence Wright of East Quogue.

A funeral service was held on December 1 at the Oakwood Cemetery in East Quogue, with the Reverend George Mangan of the East Quogue United Methodist Church officiating. Services were under the direction of J. Ronald Scott Funeral Home in Hampton Bays.

Memorial donations can be made in Ms. Wright’s name to the East Quogue Fire Department, 465 Montauk Highway, East Quogue, NY 11942.
