Marjorie Goleski of Southampton and Stuart, Florida, died at her Florida home on July 31, surrounded by loved ones. She was 86.
Born on November 3, 1929, to Olive Hamel and Harold Hackett in North Adams, Massachusetts, she married Thomas “T-Bone” Goleski on Valentine’s Day in 1952. She had a long career as an executive secretary at Southampton College. Survivors said she was a generous, loving person who devoted much of her time to her church as a Eucharistic minister, and through her work at Birthright.
She is survived by two sons, Thomas J. Goleski Jr., and Gary J. Goleski and wife Karin; daughter, Kimberly Rosko and husband Bill; grandchildren, William Rosko and wife Rebekah, Holly Goleski, Colleen Rosko, Jaime Goleski, Eric Goleski, Emily Goleski; and a great-grandchild, Hayden Rosko.
A memorial service will be held at the home of her son, Thomas J. Goleski Jr., in Stuart. A local funeral is being planned for October in Southampton.
