Mary Dayton died on April 14 in Westhampton. She was 100.
Born in Plainfield, New Jersey, to John and Mary Devine, she was a devoted wife to her husband, Elwood, who died in 1982.
She is survived by a son, Elwood Jr.; and a daughter, Lorraine Orr; a granddaughter, Cynthia Formon; a great-grandaughter, Lindsay Williamson; and great-great-grandchildren, Harris and Haiden. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Thursday, April 23, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Follett and Werner Funeral Home in Westhampton Beach. A religious service will be held on Friday, April 24, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by burial at Westhampton Cemetery.
