Mary Ellen Renkens of Hampton Bays Dies July 31

Mary Ellen Renkens of Hampton Bays died peacefully on July 31. She was 77.

She was predeceased by her husband Kimbel F. Renkens. She is survived by her children, Sherry Renkens and Mark Renkens and his wife, Robin; her grandchildren, Alyssa Bassat, Mark Renkens and Rachel Mirabal; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation took place on August 3, at Scott-Rothwell Funeral Home in Hampton Bays. Interment followed at Good Ground Cemetery.

William Campos Lopez, 26, of Speonk was arrested on December 8, at 3:40 a.m., by Quogue Village Police charged him with aggravated DWI, a misdemeanor.
