Mary Jane Glowczenski of Southampton died at home on April 3, surrounded by her family. She was 84.
Born in Southampton on March 12, 1932, she was the daughter of John and Julia Rosko, and graduated from Southampton High School in 1950 and Farmingdale Arts and Technical College in 1952. Known fondly to her friends as “Jenny,” she loved nature and gardening and was devoted her life to her family, survivors said.
She is survived by her children, John, Ted and Gail Glowczenski, Jean Griffin and husband Syd Griffin); and grandchildren Jaycob and Lilly Griffin; she was predeceased by a son, David Glowczenski; her husband, Theodore; and sister Sophie Rosko.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 9, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the O’Connell Funeral Home in Southampton.
