Mary Parker of Southampton died at her home on September 5 after a long illness. She was 93.
Born in Southampton, she was the daughter of Peter and Maryanna Zubrzycki, who predeceased her. She was also predeceased by her husband, Charles Parker, whom she met during World War II when he was stationed in Montauk at the naval base.
Ms. Parker spent most of her days reading recipes, watering her gardens and feeding and watching the birds. Survivors said she was always ready to make her grandchildren’s favorite cookie recipes and that her greatest joy was having her entire family gathered together for family celebrations and holidays.
She is survived by four daughters, Judy Musnicki of Bridgehampton, Linda Liehr and husband Joe of Southampton, Patty Foster and husband Ron of Sag Harbor and Carol Grugel and Chuck Lehman of South Carolina; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by four brothers, Peter, Anthony, Leo and Joseph. A sister, Ann McGee of Florida, and sister-in-law, Betty Meyer of Ohio, survive her.
