The owner of 1377 Meadow Lane is suing the Southampton Village Zoning Board of Appeals, asking a court to throw out covenants the board put on the wetlands permit for his dock. His neighbor to the east was the ZBA chairman at the time.

The owner is suing the ZBA, hoping the court will throw out the covenant requirements. He is pointing out that his next door neighbor, who was the ZBA chairman at the time, has a dock with no such covenants mandated.
