Michael A. Kuczynski Of Hampton Bays Dies February 12

Michael A. Kuczynski of Hampton Bays died on February 12, 2017, at Peconic Bay Medical Center. He was 58.

Born in Mineola on October 25, 1958, he was a lifelong resident of Eastern Long Island, the second of four children of Sally and Ronald Kuczynski. He loved the outdoors and nature, the beach, photography, music and wrestling, survivors said.

Mr. Kuczynski was predeceased by a brother, Anthony Kuczynski. He is survived by his parents, Sally and Ron Kuczynski; a daughter, Sandra Raffe and husband Blaine; grandchildren, Gabrielle and Max; sister Rebecca; brother Frank Kuczynski; and aunts and uncles, Marilyn and Frank Gianakos, Harry and Wallace Leslie.

A memorial service will be held in Charlotte, North Carolina, on March 8.

Southampton Police Reports for the Week of November 13

QUOGUE — Mark Magness, 55, of Rockville Center was arrested by Quogue Police on November 6 and charged with aggravated DWI, a misdemeanor. Police pulled Magness over at 7:51 p.m. after receiving a report of a reckless and erratic driver traveling east on Montauk Highway. They located the vehicle in question, and observed the vehicle failing to maintain the lane of travel, as well as no rear marker lights on.
