Michael F. Ver Snyder Of Bridgehampton Dies September 29

Michael F. Ver Snyder of Bridgehampton died on September 29, 2019, at Southampton Hospital. He was 78.

Born in Troy, he was the son of Francis and Margaret (Marra) Ver Snyder. He attended Colonie Albany High School and served in the U.S. Army Air Force. He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Southampton and retired from the Suffolk County Police.

Mr. Ver Snyder is survived by his wife, Kathleen (Trimpin); a daughter, Donna Capute Laspesa and husband Rick of Southampton; and a grandson, Michael Capute. He is also survived by a sister-in-law, Patricia Dorfer and her two daughters; a brother-in-law, William Christman and wife Dorothy.

Visitation was at Yardley and Pino Funeral Home in Sag Harbor on October 2. A funeral Mass was held at St. Andrew’s Roman Catholic Church in Sag Harbor, followed by burial in the church cemetery.
