Michael G. Mansur died on Sunday, September 5, at his home in Naples, Florida. He was 79.
Mr. Mansur was born June 12, 1942, in Santa Ana, California. In 1965, he settled in Honolulu, Hawaii, where he began his 20-plus year career with Levi Strauss & Company. His career moved him and his family to San Francisco and then Los Angeles.
Mr. Mansur married Bernadette Fogel of New York City in 1984. They enjoyed a long and happy marriage together, according to his family.
His second career was in real estate. He retired as an associate broker for Brown Harris Stevens in 2016 and settled in Naples, Florida, with Ms. Mansur and their dog Riley.
He will be remembered as a great friend, a golfer, a lover of fast and loud cars, a die-hard Raiders football fan and a Formula 1 fanatic, his family said, noting that he brought joy into every conversation, always with a sincere smile to share.
He is survived by his wife, Bernadette Mansur; his brother Patrick Mansur; his two daughters Mary-Michael Rodgers and Molly Mansur Dufner; his son-in-law Matthew Dufner; and his granddaughters Megan Rodgers and Layla Dufner.
