Michael Heltowski Of Bridgehampton Dies April 26

Michael J. Helstowski of Bridgehampton died on April 26. He was 49.

Born on July 29, 1963, he was the son of Raymond Helstowski, who predeceased him, and Margaret Harrington. He attended Pierson High School and was a self-employed mechanic.

Survivors said he was a very peaceful, caring and gentle man. He had a constant interest in learning about a diverse array of subjects including nature, science, farming, music, cars, movies, guns and fishing.

Mr. Helstowski is survived by his siblings, Kenny of East Hampton, Jackie of Sagaponack and Lee of Michigan; and five nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held at Yardley and Pino Funeral Home in Sag Harbor on April 29.
