Dual-Meet Season The Hampton Bays wrestling team defeated Bayport-Blue Point, 42-36, at home on January 14 in its final League VII dual meet of the season. Kevin Saa Pacheco (124 pounds), Tony Haddock (131) and Nilson Quesada (138) all rattled off three consecutive pins for the Baymen. Jack DeBenedette (152) also pinned his opponent, as did Michael Gutierrez (215). Hampton Bays (1-3 in League VII, 2-3 overall) also defeated the Stony Brook School in a nonleague match, 59-8, on Thursday, January 16.
