Former Sag Harbor resident Mona D. Behrens of Palm Beach, Florida, died on March 21 in Florida. She was 89.

Born May 21, 1919, in Jersey City, New Jersey, she worked as a secretary while living in Rosedale, Queens. During her time in Sag Harbor, she worked for WLNG radio station.

Survived by nieces and nephews, she was predeceased by her husband, Harold W. Behrens, in 1988.

Visitation will be on Friday, March 27, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Yardley & Pino Funeral Home in Sag Harbor. A prayer service will be held on Saturday, March 28, at 11 a.m., also at the funeral home.

Interment will follow at St. Andrew’s Cemetery.
