Monday Traffic Snarls Implode Hopes for Improvements Along CR39

Traffic backups from the stop lights at Magee Street and Tuckahoe Road have clogged the flow of traffic through the new Sandy Hollow Road merge on most days. Southampton Town Police officers have waved cars through red lights at times to help keep things flowing but roadwork and accidents have at times clogged the chronically overcrowded roadway regardless at times.
